Vantage Point

Cool !! This tense movie encourages the audience to complete the puzzles of the whole situation.

Some people were facing the same situation in this movie - They’re watching the president of United States got shot twice, from a different point of view that bring us to the ending result..

Who’s the terorist behind this shotout? What are the connection between these people with the shotout?

Well, If you were curious, you must watch it by yourself ;p

CJ7

I highly recommended this movie. Compare with Kungfu Dunk, I think CJ7 is much better to watch ^________^

You won’t see Stephen Chow acts ridiculous in this movie like the previous movie Kungfu Hustle or Shaolin Soccer, but as a director and an actor of this movie, he stars a poor and honest labor who lived with his 9 years old son. When a cute alien came into their live, everything start to be interesting, touching and funny.

Death Note

Dear Blog,

A couple days ago, I’ve juz seen the movie Death Note. I haven’t seen the sequal Death Note 2 The Last Name, but I eager to see it.

The Death Note

This movie, taking from the comic, will NOT end the same way the original comic does. The story is bout Light Yagami (aka Kira) finds the “Death Note”, a notebook with the power to kill, and decides to create a Utiopia by killling the world’s criminals, and soon the world’s greatest detective, “L”, is hired to find the perpetrator. An all out battle between the greatest minds on earth begins, the winner controlling the world.

Don’t miss the most unexpected and truly shocking conclusion of the suspenseful movie series. A census shows that more than 80 % of the audience for Death Note, walked out of the theater ‘very satisfied.’ The thrill and excitement of Part 1 can also be found in Death Note 2 the Last name, with an even more satisfying story and a completely unpredictable finale. See the hyper intellectual psychological duels between the boy genius Light Yagami, (aka Kira) and the boy wonder criminal investigator L. Who will win? Every word uttered and every action taken is a trap to catch the opponent. Every action is calculated. Every smile is a disguise to conceal a plot… Stay alert and don’t blink your eyes!

The Last Name

“The human whose name is written in this note shall die.”

Light Yagami is an elite university student and a genius. When a shinigami (God of Death) dropped ‘Death Note’ on Earth, Light picks it up and decides to keep it. With his father being a police inspector, Light has a strong sense of justice and is determined to wipe out all criminals using the Death Note. Dispersing justice obsesses him and he envisions himself as a god in the crimeless utopia he plans to create. As criminals continue to die in unexplainable ways, people start saying that it’s the work of a ‘messiah’ who they call, Kira. International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO) deploys its best ‘weapon,’ L, the genius investigator to solve the mystery. L’s superior intelligence seems a sure bet in cornering Kira. Light evades L though, by utilizing his intelligence and the mysterious power of the Death Note.

Then the second Death Note is brought to Earth…

As attempts to catch Kira become more elaborate, Light makes a daring move. He devises a way to be part of the ‘Kira Task Force’ with his identity concealed. But L has been waiting for this opportunity. Light and L finally meet. Now their psychological duel enters a new phase. Whoever is careless for even a split second will lose!

While the geniuses are busy dealing with each other, another Death Note drops to Earth. Rem, a shinigami, brings the second notebook and Misa Amane comes into possession of it. She is a pop star and a Kira worshipper. Now becoming a Kira herself, she accepts the offer to have the Eyes of the Death. With the Eyes of the Death, one can know the name of any person without being told. With this special ability given by the Eyes of the Death, Misa offers to work with Light. Together they intend to find the true identity of L so that his name can be written in the Death Note. But L intervenes with their scheme and succeeds in capturing Misa. Light surrenders so that he can be nearer to Misa. But of course, he has incredible plans to turn around the situation with the Death Note.

Sakura Television Broadcasting has made a name with its sensational Kira coverage. Kiyomi Takada is one of the news journalist who has been following the case for a long time. One day her life alters forever when she becomes the third person to possess the Death Note.

With the disclosure of the new rules of the Death Note, the mystery becomes so complex that even the geniuses Light and L are perplexed. Amongst this chaos, only one person sees through the whole thing. Who? And who will win? Who will die?

The answer is written in Death Note 2 the Last name!

Hmm….a very interesting movie, I like the way Light and L compete their geniuses in their psychological duel :) This is the movie that you don’t wanna miss. A very complex way in solving problem by written the story line in the “Death Note” notebook. I rate this movie: 8.5 out of 10

Eragon

Movie of The Month : ERAGON

Wow, this movie is AMAZING ^_^ I’ve watched it yesterday in MTA with my friends: aldi, patz, ci indrajani, budi, handi and jimmy.

The story of the movie “Eragon” is based on best-selling novel by Christopher Paolini. I have read the book Eragon, but haven’t read second book Eldest.

Eragon takes place in a land called Alagaësia, which is ruled by the evil king, Galbatorix, who was once a dragon rider but is now corrupted by madness after losing his dragon and being denied another one. Dragons are a species which were once the peacekeeping species in a partnership with a rider of an elite group. Galbatorix in his madness, crippled the order of the Riders and now dragons are thought to be extinct.

The main character is Eragon, a 15 year old boy who lives in a small village called Carvahall. He finds a mysterious blue stone in The Spine and witnesses a baby dragon hatch from inside the “stone.” He raises the dragon in secret until two evil Ra’zac come to town looking for his mysterious blue stone. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, manages to escape danger by hiding in the forest, but Eragon’s Uncle Garrow is killed and his house razed.

Eragon takes it upon himself to become a Dragon Rider, one of the ancient warriors who were slaughtered by the crazed Galbatorix in his rise to power, and seeks to hunt down the Ra’zac. On his journey, Eragon learns the ways of the Dragon Riders, swordfighting and magic mentored by his companion Brom, a mysterious old storyteller from his village. Unfortunately, Brom is gravely injured, and he soon dies—but not before revealing that he was once a Dragon Rider with a dragon which was the namesake of Eragon’s.

The animation is great, the story is funny and interesting and surely full of adventures. Eragon is modern story combined with classic tales which result in a creative story full of imagination =)

I rate this movie: 8.5 out of 10

The Departed

Today I’ve juz seen the movie: The Departed in MTA. The story is quite complicated and it has an unexpected ending…It’s Hongkong movie’s remake (Infernal Affairs). Haven’t seen d Infernal Affairs yet, but I’m gettin’ curious to watch that movie because of The Departed. It seems that The Departed movie is incomplete…Some scenes are somehow hard to understand…Like…What the content of the envelope that Billy Costigan gives to his gf?? Is it true that Costello is an FBI informan?? Where’s the microprocessor??

The Departed is set in South Boston, where the state police force is waging war on organized crime. Young undercover cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate run by gangland chief Costello (Jack Nicholson). While Billy is quickly gaining Costello’s confidence, Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon), a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the police department as an informer for the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Special Investigation Unit. Each man becomes deeply consumed by his double life, gathering information about the plans and counter-plans of the operations he has penetrated. But when it becomes clear to both the gangsters and the police that there?s a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin are suddenly in danger of being caught and exposed to the enemy — and each must race to uncover the identity of the other man in time to save himself.

This movie is suitable for those who loves action n intensity…

Rating: 7 out of 10

CLICK

Movie of The Day: CLICK

I’d just seen DVD of movie: CLICK. Adam Sandler portrays Michael Newman, a family man whose busy career as an architect doesn’t leave much time for his wife, Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and two kids. Unable to figure out which of his many remotes turns on the TV, he goes shopping for a universal remote and finds the perfect device through Morty (Christopher Walken), who gives him a one of-a-kind remote with magical powers. With each click, Michael is able to control his career and personal life. But complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.

This movie is very interesting. It contains a morale that we can’t just skip our pain and sorrow in life. Sometimes, we might also skip the happiness in life.. So, eventhough life goes on as it always be, there’s lot of think that full of joy and happiness we might cherish with our beloved fam/frenz/special one, never miss every moment in our life, coz it is very meaningful :)
